Deep breathing has been mentioned before in this blog as a way to help deal with stress and stressful situations. Deep breathing helps regulate your body's chemistry in the moment and put it back on track to a more peaceful state. The great thing about deep breathing is that it can be done anywhere at any time! I have come across an app for your phone or ipad that is free and is called Breathe2Relax. Check it out! It times your deep inhales and exhales and from that, will guide you through deep breathing exercises. You pick the background and music. It's a really neat app. Also, I came across a fun video, it was intended for younger kids, but it was cute and gave good information about deep breathing, so check it out!
